I’m Ned Dwyer. I co-founded Great Question, a UX research platform used by teams at Canva, Amazon, Intuit and a few hundred other companies. We raised a Series A in late 2025 and we’re rebuilding the whole product for the AI-native era. It’s the most fun I’ve had at work.

Before this I founded Elto, a marketplace for freelance web developers, which was acquired by GoDaddy in 2015. Before that I ran a small digital agency in Melbourne called Native Digital. I’m Australian, I’ve been in San Francisco since 2014, and the move was meant to be temporary.

Off-hours: married to Megan, family in Melbourne, long runs in the Presidio, and a steady appetite for the kind of writing that doesn’t have an obvious place to publish itself. That’s partly why this site exists.
